The Edmonton Police Foundation, established by community leaders in June 2000, is an independent, non-profit, charitable organization that promotes and supports community policing, crime prevention and education initiatives developed by the Edmonton Police Service.

Police officers are in a unique position to raise awareness of current issues and problems in a community through daily interaction with the citizens of Edmonton.

The Edmonton Police Foundation will be holding it's Annual Gala Dinner on October 8, 2008.  This is a fundraiser for the Edmonton Police Foundation and 100 percent of the net proceeds support initiatives to strengthen our communities.  Tables may be purchased by calling 780-421-2227.
